very involved in assisting our neighbors in Haiti and know
you want to help in any way you can. Please visit the United
Methodist's web site, through the two linkages above:
"Provide Healthy Kits," and "Donate Now to the Haiti
Emergency."
Please pay particular
attention to the details describing the packages for UMCOR.
You must purchase the items in the list exactly as
specified. Do not package them in plastic bags. Many of your
donations are being returned because you did not follow
specific instructions.
You may make donations
through the linkage "Donate Now" above, or donations will be
accepted in the Christ of the Hill's UMC office; however, a
special offering will be taken on Sunday, January 24 to be
sent to the Conference Office for Haiti Aid.
In addition to the aid for
the Haitian people, we invite you to become
acquainted with our church family and the opportunities for
Christian growth our church offers.
We are blessed with a
membership that has come from diverse religious backgrounds,
occupations and interests, yet they have found a warm and
nurturing atmosphere here with us at Christ of the Hills. We
invite you to join us in worship on Sunday or in any of our
mission activities or social events.
