The United Methodist Men (UMM) is a creative, supportive
fellowship of men who seek to know Jesus Christ, to grow
spiritually, and to seek daily to do his will.
Christ of the Hills United Methodist Men’s group is chartered
with the General Commission on United Methodist Men and has an
important role in our church. Over one hundred men are active in
the group and all men are encouraged to participate.
We meet on the second Friday of each month at 7:30 a.m. for
breakfast, fellowship, devotion and a brief program.
Fellowship and Service are the cornerstones of the
UMM.
Mission work is supported by key projects such as the annual
Fish Fry,
Jazz Festival, and
collection
of aluminum cans. Activities supported by these efforts include
donations to projects like
Christmas baskets for needy families and delivery of Village
Home Meals. UMM Sunday recognizes these efforts.
The UMM is always ready to pitch in and help whenever they can
serve the church and support God’s work.
