Associate Pastor & Minister of Music, Reverend Pat Henry, is a multi-instrumentalist, playing
trumpet, trombone, piano, guitar, flute and other instruments. He has
directed church choirs for over 38 years. Pat is a native of the
western Texas plains and is a graduate of West Texas State University
(now West Texas A & M) in Canyon,
Texas. He has also attended supplemental music schools at
Midwestern University,
Indiana University, the University of Denver and Southern Methodist
University. Pat is also a graduate of the American School of Piano
Tuning, and is the only factory-certified Yamaha piano technician in
Arkansas. Pat
has been a Certified Advanced Lay-Speaker in the Methodist church for
several years and is currently a Deacon in the
ordination process. Pat and his family have been Arkansans for over thirty-five
years and Pat has been active in music during that time. Pat and his
wife, June, have three grown sons and eight grandchildren. |

Church Accompanist, Patricia Epperhart, has a Bachelor of Arts
degree in Spanish with a minor in music from Tarleton State University
in Stephenville, She has been a church musician most of her life and has
taught music for over 20 years. She served as officers in numerous
state, local, and national music teachers’ organizations. She has been a
member of the volunteer staff of the Van Cliburn Competition for several
years. She has presented workshops in piano pedagogy and served as an
adjudicator for numerous piano and vocal competitions. In Arkansas, she
teaches Spanish at Arkadelphia High School. Her students, both piano and
Spanish, have competed at the state level and received numerous awards.
She also has many students who have careers in the music profession or
are studying music at the collegiate level. When she is not teaching,
she enjoys planning and taking trips to
Europe and Central American with her students, and family. Patricia and her
husband, David, have two children, Jay and Leah. |
