All women at Christ of the Hills United Methodist
Church are members of the United Methodist Women (UMW) and are invited
to participate in all UMW events.
Women of our Church stand right beside
the men...we usher, act as greeters and readers, sing in the choir,
serve on commissions as well as clean up crews following dinner and
programs, deliver food baskets, purchase gifts and bake cookies - and
that's only within the Church.
Outside volunteer activities may include:

at Rice Deport we assemble dinners in
plastic tubes, label cans and empty large containers of sugar, two
cups at a time

at Master's Table fill plates, serve
meals and clean tables

at Methodist Outreach sort donations,
mark merchandise and dispense food
-
at Jackson House make peanut butter
and jelly sandwiches by the hour
-
at Good Samaritan Care Center call
out bingo numbers, award prizes, talk and listen to residents

at B.A.R.B.S. Place prepare surfaces,
move furniture, paint, clean up and paint some more
-
at Glenhaven Youth Ranch prepare
monthly casseroles
-
at Simply Kids rock babies
